Elinor Betesh serves as GHF’s public relations manager, engaging in worldwide press activities. Elinor has worked closely with Jeff Morgan in managing a number of GHF’s donor events and project development activities in Europe. As part of her role in PR, Elinor establishes high profile contacts with reporters and correspondents and maintains strong relationships with various media outlets around the world, ranging from TV and radio broadcast to international newspapers and prominent magazines.
Prior to joining GHF, Elinor served as a Marketing manager for seven years, directing international marketing operations in Israel’s high-tech hub, including telecom, medical aesthetics and voice biometrics companies. Her work has involved full-scale management of conferences and tradeshows worldwide, managing creative, developing corporate and product messaging as well as product branding and development.
In addition Elinor worked for The Jewish Agency for Israel, where she introduced a community-based volunteer program that directly engaged her colleagues with the Ethiopian youth community in Kfar Sava, Israel. The afternoon program focused on website development using sponsored desktop computers and internet access with the goal of promoting self-expression as well as strengthening ambition, talent and confidence in displaced Ethiopian adolescents.
Elinor speaks five languages and holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and French from Tel Aviv University and a degree in Journalism & Communications from Bar Ilan University.
