Mirador Featured at the Shanghai Expo 2010

The ‘El Mirador’ pyramid represents Mayan culture to the world. The pavilion shows the history and diversity of the Guatemalan culture and its modern urban management and pursuit of future lifestyle.

The World Expo Shanghai 2010 to be held from May 1 to October 31 trade fair will be the largest and most ambitious of history and is expected to be visited by 70 million people.

Pedro Barnoya, National Commissioner of Guatemala for the 2010 Shanghai Expo, said 20 companies have joined as sponsors. Ruben Morales, Minister of Economy, said the Shanghai Expo 2010 “is an unprecedented and unique platform which Guatemala can expose business and investment opportunities” in China and around the world.
