Banteay Chhmar in the news

Sandi Toksvig asks broadcaster Loyd Grossman about his trip to Cambodia

June 2010

Sandi Toksvig asks broadcaster Loyd Grossman about his trip to Cambodia where he saw two very different approaches to managing visitors to the ancient temples: at a relatively unknown one, deep in the jungle, the local people are trying to avoid the mass tourism pitfalls of the world famous Angkor Wat.

Loyd Grossman
Loyd Grossman is a journalist and broadcaster and is the face on a brand of sauces. He is currently the chair of the Churches Conservation Trust. Loyd Grossman recently travelled to Cambodia to visit the Hindu temple of Angkor Wat. He also went to a more remote temple complex at Banteay Chhmar preservation and tourist management of which is currently being led by Global Heritage Fund.
