Global Heritage Fund is proud to announce the addition of six new trustees to Global Heritage Fund’s Board of Trustees. Five trustees will join the board of GHF in the United States and one will join the board of GHF UK.

GHF US

Bonnie Cohen – Ms. Cohen served as Undersecretary of State for Management, where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the State Department in over 160 countries, including security, consular affairs, human resources, and finance.

Rob Harper – Mr. Harper is a Senior Managing Director and Head of U.S. Asset Management in the Real Estate group at Blackstone. Since joining in 2002, Mr. Harper has been involved in analyzing Blackstone’s real estate equity and debt investments in all property types.

Ro King – Ms. King has more than 25 years’ experience in strategic marketing using big data, initially in financial services as Senior Vice President with Signet Bank and across a broad range of industries as a co-founder of Quaero. She teaches seminars with Global Customer Experience Management, advises Carderock Consulting, and is an active angel investor in the US and Europe and start-up mentor in the US and Hong Kong.

Russell C. Platt – Mr. Platt serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Forum Partners Investment Management LLC.

Adi Shamir-Baron – As Executive Director of the Van Alen Institute, Ms. Shamir-Baron led the national membership organization and fellowship research center in developing programs dedicated to promoting public architecture and improving civic life.

GHF UK

Evelthon Vassiliou – Mr. Vassiliou is Chief Executive Officer of Alison Hayes Ltd., a company that designs and manufactures clothing. With operations in eastern Europe and Asia, the company is one of the leaders in its sector, currently serving most of the major retailers in the UK and rapidly expanding in Europe.

We are also pleased to announce that Ömer Koç, Chairman of Koç Holdings, will become a Global Heritage Fund Ambassador. Mr. Koç is a longtime friend of GHF, and his continued support of our work conserving cultural heritage sites in his home country of Turkey has been a catalyst of our success. As an Ambassador, Mr. Koç will provide invaluable strategic advice, guidance, and support for GHF’s organizational advancement.

Finally, we are honored to announce our royal patron, HRH the Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO. The Duke of Gloucester carries out a significant number of public duties, many as Patron, President or Fellow of a number of charities with which he is involved. The Duke has an association with 150 charities and organisations in total and in addition to this he holds honorary military appointments with The Royal Anglian Regiment, The Royal Army Medical Corps, The Royal Logistic Corps, 6th Battalion – The Rifles, The Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers (Militia) and Royal Air Force Odiham.

These new trustees, ambassador, and patron bring decades of combined experience in government, nonprofits, and business. Embodying the entrepreneurial and professional spirit of our organization, our newest trustees will bring their expertise to bear tackling the foremost problems of heritage conservation.
